Consent to data processing

Declaration of consent

Our company takes the task of protecting client data very seriously: we consider the protection of individual privacy to be an important matter, and this particular matter receives a lot of attention within the framework of our business processes.

A. Data processing for the processing of contracts

The personal data that you have provided needs to be processed in order to properly handle the underlying contractual relationship (offers, order confirmations, delivery slips, invoices, correction of invoices etc.). Wherever necessary and permissible or required by law, we shall forward your data to third parties or data processing companies (e.g. shipping/logistics companies, tax consultants, retention periods vis-a-vis the finance authorities, manufacturers for adherence to warranty and guarantee claims etc.). The data processing operation is based on article 6 section 1b and c) of the GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes.

Further-reaching (as described under section B.) processing of your personal data shall only take place if you have given your consent for such a course of action (voluntary).

B. Consent for data processing for the purposes of advertising

Furthermore, we would also like to regularly provide you with information regarding (for example) the following topics:
• Sending of retailer pricing lists
• Information on current delivery times
• New products and product presentations
• Sales, second choice and rebate campaigns
• Invitations to exhibitions
• Surveys on satisfaction, etc.

I understand that this consent is provided voluntarily, and may be cancelled at any time. I am aware of my data protection rights that have been described in section C.

C. Data protection rights of the client and contact information

You can always receive information from us regarding the personal data pertaining to you that has been stored (article 15 of the GDPR), demand that the said data be amended (article 16 of the GDPR), deleted (article 17 of the GDPR) or limitedly processed (article 18 of the GDPR), and exercise your right pertaining to data transferability (article 20 of the GDPR). Furthermore, you can always change or revoke your declaration of consent for the future, without giving any reasons (article 21 of the GDPR). Please note that this has no effect on data processing operations that were carried out before the revocation. Please reach out to one of the following contact addresses for the aforementioned purposes.
