history

Look at the success story of a traditional family business,
that has a clear vision and a burning desire to realize it.
We wanted to build the best trampolines in the world. That is what we did.

1958

Kurt and Rose Hack founded Eurotramp, initially known as "Kurt Hack Gerätebau", in a small garage in 1958. From the beginning, the two founders set themselves an ambitious target: they wanted to build the best trampolines in the world! The first trampoline prototype was developed at this time: a Master with a 45 mm jumping bed.

1960

In 1960, the company officially changed its name to "Eurotramp-Trampoline Kurt Hack GmbH". Kurt Hack was the first to equip his trampolines with frame pads, to ensure more safety.

1965

This was followed five years later by the Master "Super Spezial" with a 13 mm jumping bed, the competition standard at this time! The first Minitrampoline was also developed in 1965.

1968

In 1968, Kurt Hack developed the Grand Master "Super Spezial" with a significantly larger frame. It was designed at a time of increasing performance levels in trampolining as a sport. It was then used as the competition trampoline of the World Championships in Stuttgart in 1972.

1972

In 1972, Eurotramp, which had by then developed into a medium sized company, provided the equipment for the Trampolining World Championships for the first time.

1973

The garage in Göppingen quickly became too small. Kurt and Rose Hack found a new home in Weilheim/Teck with their trampolines – today the site of the company's production facilities.

1977

From 1977, Eurotramp trampolines were used at almost all European Championships, World Cups as well as national and international trampoline competitions.

1982

Première: In 1982, the first Trampoline World Championships on Eurotramp equipment were held in the USA, the birth place of the trampoline.

1994

The Grand Master Exclusiv replaced the Grand Master "Super Spezial": from this point forward, a 6×4 mm jumping bed was used. The Grand Master Exclusiv was the competition trampoline at national and international competitions for over 15 years!

1999

In 1999, the F.I.T. International Trampoline Federation was integrated into the FIG International Gymnastics Federation. This merger paved the way to Trampoline Gymnastics being included as a discipline in the competition programme of the Olympic Games.

2000

Trampolining is now officially an Olympic discipline! Sydney for the first time saw 12 gymnasts compete for Olympic medals on Eurotramp trampolines. Dennis Hack, the founder's grandson, took over the management of the company together with Johannes Maier.

2004

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Eurotramp equipment was again used for Trampoline Gymnastics.

2008

For the third time in a row Eurotramp supplies the Olympic Games with its competition trampolines.

2010

In 2010, Eurotramp celebrated 50 years in business. The 4×4 mm jumping bed also introduced as a competition standard.

2013

Following two years of intensive development, at the beginning of 2013 Eurotramp presented the new "Ultimate" high-performance competition trampoline. It was developed together with the world's best trampoline athletes, and in collaboration with Rebound Products of Canada.

2014

Eurotramp was certified DIN ISO 14001 compliant thanks to its good environmental management.

2016

Eurotramp for the fourth time supplies the trampolines for the Olympic Games. In addition to competition trampolines, Eurotramp supplied Rio de Janeiro with all the equipment for the training area for the Olympic discipline of Diving.

2017

In 2017 Eurotramp received the award "100 companies for resource efficiency". Through the introduction of a cutting system for the cutting optimisation of trampoline components, Eurotramp was able to save considerable resources.

2019

Just in time for the World Championships and the Olympic Test Games in Tokyo, Eurotramp was able to celebrate the topping-out ceremony for the construction of the new production facility in Weilheim on 18.11.2019. The entire company is already looking forward to the completion and expansion of all possibilities of trampoline production.

2021

For the fifth time, the trampolines for the Olympic trampoline competitions come from the Swabian town of Weilheim/Teck.
